weight of 84-89 911's

Does anyone know the weight of these cars, without occupents??
The sticker inside the door shows a weight but doesn't that include a certain amount of weight for occupents. Thanks

About 2760 lbs for the 84-86 915 transmission cars. Add the G50/915 weight differential to 87-89 cars....I think an extra 50 lbs.

I've never heard of weight including occupants or other "carry ons." A maximum weight is given in the manual for passengers and cargo. Curb weight is supposed to include fluids.

I think this is the weight you most commonly see.

My 85 was 2800 stock, 2750 without spair, tools, & jack. My car had limited slip & electric seats.

The G50 cars are a bit over 100lbs more per PCA race weights (hydraulic clutch, dial mass flywheel, cast iron center torsion tube, biger transmission).

Some fun into here: How much do you weigh??? (2800#, 85)

My 85 was 2760 with "spare" tools and jack....I think maybe 1/4 to 1/2 tank of gas. Had electric seats and limited slip too. Matched pretty well with the famous black coupe that Car and Driver tested in 84....almost to the pound.

Wil,

I looked back. My first weigh in was at the dump at 2800. Your number is probably more on now that I think of it.

Seemed 50+ lbs lower than I expected.

My 87 Targa was 2,880 with 1/2 tank of fuel in stock form--yikes!

It is now 2,460 with an empty tank.

It does not even feel like the same car now--much more lively and fun to drive.

... at 6 Lb per gallon your 1/2 tank would hold 70 gallons
