Really silly question here but what are the specs for the spare wheel dimensions for a '74-'77 911S?
I guess it is a 15"x6" steel wheel with a regular 911 offset? Would any Porsche product (911/944/928 ect.) spare wheel fit on a 911S? I am trying to find a used steel wheel for a spare tire for a 911S with 15"x6" Fuchs. If anyone has a spare steel wheel cluddering up thier garage I would be happy to buy it!? Thanks,

ONe weird thought? Go with a 15" cookie cutter. They were actually a wee bit lighter than a fuchs of the same width.

I think I have an extra steel wheel - it was the spare in my 1971.
email me at jmcjunkin@ta.com if you're interested

I have an extra tire in 185/70 VR 15, which served as my spare for many years until I reshod the car with Pirelli P6s. I believe that it's a Semperit (circa 1975) in excellent condition and it's got about 80 percent tread remaining. It would make a great spare for an early car, if mated to the correct 15X6 wheel. Drop me an email if you are interested.
