Meyle motor/trans. mounts
A Porsche Parts supplier recomended Meyle motor and trans mounts for my 73 911. I was told they are rubber, but, heavy duty. Firmer than Cabrio/Sport mounts. Has anyone heard of them? I did some searching and found someone using them on a 944. It was posted on Rennlist Forum but not much info.

I haven't heard of Meyle being used in Porsche applications, but I've used Meyle on BMW applications. They have an excellent reputation for being of the highest quality in Bimmer circles.

I went to the Meyle website. It appears that they do not carry engine mounts for the 74-88 911 or many parts at all for them. I looked at the 914 section as well(the parts are the same) and they are not listed, either.
I have the OEM sports(cabriolet) mounts on the engine and gearbox and I like the firmer feel. Depending on your driving style, you may want to stay with the stock, more pliable versions.
