wind screen for 84 Cab
Has any one had experience with after market wind screens for Cab's? I saw one in San Diego in the fall and am interested in trying one out.
Do you know where I can find one? Yes I know they look bad and the wind does not bother my bald head. But if I want the wife to drive with me, with the top down I just might have to do it. or I could............ Thanks Steve Larson 84 cab |

Many 993's came with them standard. I've seen them on E-bay from time to time. One from a 993 could be easilt adapted to fit your '84.
Me? I built my own for the '72. I used galvanized electrical conduit. Bought 4 pre-bent 90 deg. pieces, some straight stock, and measured/cut/welded into framework. then got my girlfriend to make me some covers to slip over the framework made from black nylon mesh. Looks better than the factory units and folds down easily. It's also much less obtrusive visually than the stock units. They sit too high. It really makes a big difference in heat, turbulence, and stereo sound.

No I don't Mark. But maybe I can talk John Walker (he's my neighbor) into taking some pictures with his new digital camera.
