Porsche HSR Pics from Homestead Race this past Weekend
Hey guys - was at the championship finale of the indy series and took these for all to enjoy. I only attended the indy race as it had a 7:00pm start time, whereas the HSR series was only between 1-1:30pm and nothing else worthwile for me in between both races. The 7-11 car by Kanaan was its last outing, as the sponsorship has been pulled. As to the green 911 RSR, it appears on 3 pics on the current issue of Road & Track. I apologize ahead of time for the quality of the pics - but they were taken with my iPhone...

Homestead is a nice "little" track. The banking (Nascar 3+4) is much more tighter than Daytona which you take flat out. Homestead, I mentally struggled and never went through flat out. Attendance was low for an HSR event but being that it was sort of a last minute event it was good. I took overall honors on the Vintage enduro and the 2 sprint races and 1st in class 3rd overall on the Klub Sport Porsche Challenge! Next up, Sebring!
