Lose Dizzy Cap clip
In trying to get the car out to take some pictures I noticed that although it started fine all of a sudden it died, I played around with a few things and it turns out that one of the clips that holds the dizzy cap seem to be lose and the cap move enough to kill the engine. If I hold it down in the correct location it runs fine. Could it be the cap has worn on the point the clips hits? The clip seems to look fine. Unfortunately I don't have a spare cap handy to test but I am going to order one. Just wanted to see if the cap was the most likely suspect.
Thanks

Yup, with a pair of pliers.
![]() I had to do the same thing with mine when I first bought the car.
