JWest Engineering Steering Eccentric Adapter
I have the Prototipo wheel fitted which as pleasing as it is completly obsures the speedo.
Anyone have the Eccentric Adapter fitted? If so any chance of a pic for a drivers view? thanks Chris |
I have one. Nice part. I purchased longer screws for the wheel - the 3mm engagement I got with the existing screws into the adapter (which is aluminum, not steel like the Momo hub) left me uncomfortable.
Sorry, no pic. Speedo is now visible to 80MPH instead of 60MPH. But, I have room for heel-toe downshifting from my preferred seating position. |
Why not just rotate the spedo?

This is how I solved the problem. North Hollywood Speedometer did this for me. Works well, and I think looks good. You can see up to 90mph through the spokes. I used to have 40 to 75 obscured on the speedo. Redline is straight up on the tach. |
It's kind of hard to get an accurate photo representation of what you'll see. But this is close:

I have one on my SC with a Momo Competition wheel, I really like it. Another advantage - it moves the steering wheel about 1/2" closer to you which helps if you have big hands that bump on the dashboard!
