My car gives me a buzz!

Beautiful Columbus Day weekend. My oldest daughter had a soccer tournament Saturday & Sunday approx 45min drive so we took the Porsche.

Unload the trunk, go to get something inside the car and I get a shock when I grab the handle. Not bad, more like a tingle, the window frame is charged as well. The strut bar is also charged. Drive home and nothing, yeah, it fixed itself. Take the P-Car again Sunday and no shock.

So...

Bad ground? Chaffed hot wire? Where to start? Most obvious?

Do you have an alarm system... I had an alarm system that was deliberately set up to give a shock when it was touched..by the previous owner on another car i had... maybe you were un aware of the system.

I do have a Clifford alarm and the passenger door lock was acting funny a couple of months ago. I'm not sure the Clifford has the 'zap' theft deterrent feature though? My daughter thinks maybe it was the high tension power lines we were parked under?
