944 Seats fit 911SC

I have a 1980 911SC w/Manual Seats. Sadly, one of these nice original seats just got a rip in it. I found a good deal on seats from a 1986 944 Turbo, the Driver's seat is powered, passenger is manual. Any idea if these will fit in my SC? Assuming I can run power to it relatively easily....any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I do believe they will fit. I had a set of factory sport seats in my Carrera that came out of a 944.
I would think the same applies to a SC

The power unit seats of the 911 from 85 on sit higher in the car. I dont know if the back of the seat is taller than the 80 but all bolt in except 928

Yep they fit just fine. I just picked up a set of seats from a 944 and put them in my SC. They sit a little higher (maybe because they are power and my original were manual), and the seat bottom is a few inches longer than 911 seats. They work great though, other than being REALLY HEAVY because they are power.

I pulled power off of an unused 15amp fuse in the factory fuse block. I ran a single 12gauge wire through the firewall through an existing grommet. I grounded the motors to the body at the seat rail.

Thanks for the reply. I'll give'm a shot.
