FWIW- the Rennline 964 radio blockoff plate works in a Carrera too
I'd been looking for something to fill the void left when I yanked my radio head unit out of my '86. Rennline lists a block off plate for the 964's but not the earlier cars, and the folks at Rennline had never tried it.
Rennline Radio Block-Off Plate - Porsche-Rennline, Inc. So I figured I'd give it a shot. It fits perfectly, and shot them a few pics. ![]() Looks like they've updated their site now too.

I got mine at the dealer, think it was like $8. I forget the P/N.
