George,
I can tell you for sure it's not for an eighties car, most likely a lot earlier ... Cheers ! Phil

Sure looks like a Porsche 911 1965-1967 tool bag!

The kit looks incomplete and possibly in error. The two prong fan wrench makes it for a 1974 or earlier car.
For my 1973, I have a 19x22 box end wrench, a red handled screwdriver with a removable shaft (phillips and slotted), 5 open ended wrenches, a different style spark plug wrench w/hex wrench, the two prong fan holder, pliers, and lug wrench/jack handle. If this is for an early (1973 and earlier car), try the Early 911S BBS. They have long threads on what goes where.

Thanks for the feedback. I thought kits for early cars all had red-handled screwdrivers and basket-weave pouches.

My tool roll from a 1972 model 911 does have the basket weave.

What does the other side of the pliers look like and what are the stampings on the wrenches?
That will tell you a lot. The jack handle/lug wrench is SWB (I think) as is the bag and spark plug socket. The spanner is early pin type and so the pliers look early but, again, it would great to see the other side. Pelican is not really the place to look for information like this, but the Early S Registry Forums are. Go over there and do a search for "Tool Kit Police" and then give up your free time. I've put a post up on the Early S Registry this morning as well.

George,
The Pet Porsche parts catalog has details on tool kits. Even shows how the tools are arranged!
