Unhappy You last visited: Today at 06:35 PM...

This is probably for Wayne but I'm sure I'm not the only one it happened to.

So, sometime I go in and out to PP through out the day but it keep telling me (and display) all the new post from the first time I visit that day even though that it's my forth visit and it show me all the threat from the time from the first visit. It's not too bad because I keep track of the number of pages and just read the difference.

But the one that really "Pipi me off" (Wayne will get that ) is like the one tonight;

After returning from the US (injecting money in your economy) to get the wife Mini winter rims and tires (25% cheaper), I logged in at 0635 PM, and it tell me that my last visited was around 0200 PM, so lots of threads too catch up to... I check my User CP for subscribed thread, look at them, leave the computer as is, have my super, return to the computer, hit New Post and there is only 2 pages of them... and it now tell me that my last visit was at 06:35 PM??? I did not log out so why does it reset to the time that I log in?

That is how it works. If you leave it too long sitting, it refreshes your cookies or whatever. I have had that happen while reading a really good, long thread. If you just read and do not go to a different page (back or forwards) it will "time out"

I never use the new post thing on this forum because there is too much junk in off topic, and there are a whole lotta classifieds. I just go into each forum and the new stuff is in bold blue.

So, log out before you eat dinnner.

You mean to say that you actually log off and go to other websites? I finished the rest of the internet a long time ago. This is it now. I'm still waiting to get the technical forum on RSS so I can put it into my feed reader though!
