Hi Everyone
I have a 1980 Sc updated to a 1989 turbo slantnose cab , i just did a huge overhaul on this car , I installed a 3.6 in it car started and ran great , the car hasnt seen the road yet, I took it to the interior shop to get all the interior put back in it , i go to pick the car up , It cranks over and wont start!! Looking under the hood one off the fuses that powers the engine computer was blown, so i changed it and still nothing, took it to my mechanic and he says its the computer under neath the seat, he pulled the relay out and jumped the fuel pump and the fuel pump started up right away, My question is how do i know if it really is the computer, going out and buying one and it could not even be the problem would really drive me nuts, Car cranks , no fuel pump turns on and no spark, Please help !! |

I can't help you directly as I have no knowledge of the DME system except what I have read on this forum, but here is a link that you may wish to read as it seems to be exactly what you are facing.
