I miss my Porsche...still
Don't know why the last one didn't go through.
I got my car in October, had a wreck on Nov 9. Just found out it may be next week before it is ready. The shop's had it for two months! Front end damage, no engine work. Mostly body work and replacing the AC condenser, oil lines, and battery. The shop keeps telling me it is talking so long because they want to do it right. After 2 months I'm expecting perfection!!! Is it usual to take so long? |

I was TOLD, mine would take two weeks, it took 9 weeks. Then you look at it and find it needs some more buffing on the lines where they painted. Then you see there is still a ripple on the hood. Then you see that they dirtied the interior, and you say F it, I'll clean it myself. Give me my car back... after 9 weeks.....

I had a Dodge Neon in the body shop for almost six months! But, it really looked like new when I finally accepted it. Every time they would call to say it would ready, I'd show up with a legal pad. Each time the list got shorter and shorter. By the time all the little stuff was fixed, some of the welds were starting to rust so they had to start over!
Hopefully they'll do your Porsche right the first time. I got the feeling they weren't using their best people on the Neon! |
