Tampa Bay Pelicans......dealer and car questions

OK......I've got a buddy that's dying to get a Porsche. He found one in Tampa Bay. He's flying down on Tuesday to look the car over. I told him first and foremost get a PPI on the vehicle.

Need help on the following....
1. Any of you guys know the car?
2. Any of you guys know the dealer?
3. Any of you guys willing to run by this weekend to have a looksee?

I know it's a lot to ask. Any info is appreciated.

I believe Reeves Imports is the local Porsche dealer - I assume your friend has already gotten a PPI and the results came back satisfactory? I contacted Reeves on a prior potential purchase and they could perform the PPI right away (believe it was on a Saturday)... Good luck to your friend!

Seats (or seat covers, can't tell) are non-original and don't look so good.
Steering wheel is non-original.
Door leather (or vinyl) is non-original and doesn't look so good.
All of those things can be corrected, however. For a cost.

I think that's a $9-10k car, if PPI turns up nothing significant.

I hate to be negative about 911s.
Are the seats out of a buick? Could the pics be any smaller? I wouldn't waste the money on a plane ticket for this one. I have looked at many many 911s found from adds with large pics online, and they never look as good in person. Certainly nothing special about this one.

Peon77, he's always wanted a 911, and now is in a financial position to buy one. He doesn't want it for a daily driver...just to take out on nice days etc.

Happy to do a PPI on the car (see info below or pm me). We've done work with this dealer in the past. They typically deal with newer cars but one of the better dealers around TB. No ties but we have done work on some of their cars and have done a number of PPI's on cars they sell.
