Doing some work on the Alternator in my 1977 911s and came across something that I am not sure what it's for. It's in-line with my external voltage regulator.
Is says Beru Germany SX166 on the back. Would be nice to know what it's for and should I leave it or bypass it? See picture below Thanks ![]() |

anything (part number) on the back of the moulded bit - it may be a regulator of some sort.
