Australian Weather Report - definitely Cabriolet weather
 

For those thinking about wrapping up their 911's for the coming winter, spare a thought for the poor Porsche owners in Australia who are preparing for 6 to 7 months of continuous perfect Cabriolet weather without a break!

In Western Australia we must force ourselves to choose between vast stretches of sparsely populated highways, hundreds of sweeping miles of tree lined roads that meander through the vineyards of the famous Margaret River wine region or evening cruises up the West Coast Highway as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean. It's tough work just deciding which way to go!

My car, a 1983 Cab with 70,000 original kilometres on the clock, is seen here at Freshwater Bay in the Perth suburb of Claremont around 10 minutes from the heart of the city.

It's tough Porsche conditions out here, but someone has to do it!

Ahhh...too True...45 minutes from my place, The Great Ocean Road...google it! Heading down this week end for a big Show 'N' Shine. Will take some pics and post.
