1978 911 SC Rim question

I have a 1978 911SC and I'm looking to upgrade the tires and rims. Will a 7 X 17 Boxster rim (1997-1999) fit my car?

If not, where could I get more info on rim options for this car? Thanks!

Joe Bob answered your first question in your other post.

There are several options for these cars, depending on what look you are after and, of course, how much you want to spend.

A nice upgrade that would bolt right on would be the 17 inch Fuch style wheel that can be ordered through Pelican.
You could also upgrade to 7's in front and 8s or 9s in the 16 factory fuchs.

I would suggest that you consider what type of driving you do because tires are just as important and some sizes are not available in matched sets.
