Good deal for an 88 Targa?

Hey folks,

There is a pretty decent looking 1988 Targa for sale up the road from my house. It has 105K miles, very nice interior, a couple of rock chips up front (one on the passenger's door), and a whale tail. It is a steel gray color with tan interior.

He's asking $16,500.

I don't know anything about the car, just saw the sign in the window. Thought I'd pass it along. Wish I had $17K burning a whole in my pocket right about now.
