SSI w/cats......
Has anyone ever built a catalytic exhaust to work with the SSI headers? With the small high performance cats that are available today it might be possible to fit a pair of cats and a small muffler in the space available and it would be a good way to meet air qual requirements to boot!

I was interested in this also and talked to the SSI owner. He said that their is a customer in D.C. trying to create this type of alternative. I think it is possible but may be expensive.

I'd be carefull. Depending on how strict the smog weenies are, they won't like the non stock configuration unless it has CARB approval stickers in the engine bay or engraved executive orders on the cat.
