911 Turbo EFI Conversion - New Benchmark

Howdy Chaps,

911 Turbo’s admittedly get a bad rap for poor fuel mileage – in the 80’s I was glad to get 14mpg highway with a stock Euro CIS 3.3litre - but this changes all of that dramatically. How about 24mpg at 75mph on the interstate out of a motor docile as a 3.2litre Carrera that puts out 480rwhp and rev’s to 7,200rpm….and done with the stock intake manifold.

What EFI system did you use? Was it easy to tune? What turbo ? Is there any lag?
