3.6-964 single belt conversion, need a spare belt.

I did a conversion awhile back and I really should have a spare belt. 999 162 339 50, 9.5x766 is on the side of a Porsche branded belt.

Out host doesn't show it listed and nada on a search.....anyone BTDT and sourced one of these? I cross posted on the 964 board as well.

Did a Google and found the kit.....references the belt but doesn't come up in a search on the Pelican site unless you put in dashes. 999-192-338-50-M100, belt alone is 17 bucks.

Call Patrick Motorsports, they have them. I did find one at a local parts place but I had to walk in the back and search myself. The counter person could not go past "What car is it for". No clue!

Thanks, but I prefer to deal with Pelican on the purchase......I tried the local Kragen, "Uh what year, model and make?"......

"Dude, it's an aftermarket size that doesn't correspond to the engine, here's the part # and the size". The guy froze like a deer in the headlight.....

Just need to order a few other parts to get the free shipping. Shoulda ordered it with the oil line and DME relays I got last week. DOH!

You should be able to walk into any competant NAPA or Autozone and get a belt.
9.5mm wide
766mm long

Though most uh-mer-can cars are .375" which is 10mm. So might need a good foreign parts store.

You would think......but I tried visits to 2 shops and three phone calls. No joy.
