Sorry for another no start question...
Trying to help a friend solve a no start issue with a '74 with an '84 Carrera motor. The motor was rebuilt with only about 15k on it. The car had been sitting for a long time with only occasional use. Anyway, the story is the car had been running fine until it all of a sudden would not start in a parking lot. Actually it started but died two seconds later. Towed it back home and have since replaced the DME relay, plugs, reference sensor, and confirmed the computer is working with another friend's car. The fuel pump seems to be fine. Battery is a year old and fully charged. It looks like we don't have spark and electricity to the coil. Took the spark out and tested it against ground with no spark. Also put the positive end of a voltmeter to the coil and ground with no electricity. No clicks from the DME relay when in the "on" position. The ground wires to the left of the intake look good. The car cranks fine-just no spark. Are there other grounds or other things we should look for? Thanks in advance.
