sc caliper rebuild

With all the help, everything during reassembly has gone fine. My problem now is the rear bleeder screws. What size are the rears, 7, 8, or nine mm? Can't seem to get anything to fit properly. I do not have a deep3/8 deep socket to fit. Thanks

Smile A suggestion

May I suggest you get Speed Bleeder screws? They are basically a spring loaded check valve that basically only lets fluid out and not air in. I use them on my 911, my Alfa Spider, my Honda CRX, my Mom's Accord - well, you get the picture.
I have had tremendous success with these for many years. You can bleed you entire system BY YOURSELF in very short time. And, if done correctly, you will end up with a very solid brake pedal - unless of course you have other problems.
Their website will tell you the size required. Actually you could use their site to answer you question about size.

Good luck

I use a 3/8 box or flare nut wrench and it seems to fit perfectly

Beany sorry I posted without thinking I use a 3/8 on the lines the bleeder is either a 5/16 or a 1/4 but not a metric just usr a box wrench and it will be fine

I just flushed my brakes last week and my bleeders were 9 mm.
