Rev Limiter?
78 SC.
Do these have a rev limiter? If so, what RPM? Was doing some spirited driving, I usually shift about 6500, but testosterone kicked in and I was over 7k. No cut out. Just wondering. |

Unless replaced, it's in the rotor. The RPM is engraved on it.....

If your rotor was replaced by an inexperienced mechanic you will get a later US car version that has no rev limiter. Euro cars had rotor limiters and US cars had a little black box behind the tach. So.... my guess is you have no rev limiter
 -Michael PS I don't recommend you go out and test that though...
