1970 914S engine into a 1969 911T
I found a 1970 914S 2.0L engine for $1,500 without carbs and 100k miles. I need it to go in my 1969 911T so I can slowly rebuild my original 2.0L engine. What do you think?

There is no such thing as a "70 914S", but if it is a 914/6 engine then yes it will work. It's a 2.0 911T engine ('69 spec basically), set up for carbs. No speed demon, but it would get you on the road!
$1500 w/o carbs for a 100K 2.0T engine sounds steep to me though. I would offer more like $800 and see what happens. Cash talks.

The guy wants $1,500 for it and wont go lower. I guess I'll have to look elsewhere.
