using a timecert?
I regret that in the process of *****ing around with my injection system, I stripped one of the housings (takes 10mm) on the manifold (left side) that holds the fuel bar that feeds the injectors. It will not come loose without effort as it has been that way for a long time, but what do you actually get to rethread that?
Do I use the same sized bolt, and what do I look for at autozone or whatever to fix this? |
if the hole is stripped, a 6mm timesert is the ticket. you have to buy the whole kit to do it, unless you have a friend. a broken bolt obviously gets drilled out to 6mm (drill included in timesert kit).

Hello
First step is helicoil and when that fails you can timsert. Grüsse |
