Best Jack Point - '87 Targa

Well, the snow is falling in Colorado - time to get the AWD in the garage, and slide the Carrera into the 3rd car spot. I need to jack it up and place the wheel dollies under it - but am unsure where is the best place to place the floor jack. It is a single point 3 ton compact craftsman, and I don't want to crunch anything on the p-car.

Thanks so much for the help!!!!

If you have the jack pads you can use those to lift up each side. If not, use the jack under the engine case, with a block of wood for protection.

In the front, the front pan crossmember is a safe place to jack, using a block of wood to protect the metal from damage.

Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will.

And I do a great Yoda...

I did use the search, thread title - Floor Jack - really nothing but something for a '69...

So, thanks so much Oh Haha...

The force is strong with this one...

Fox, I think you might've lowered yours by now? If so, you might assemble some 2x4s to drive onto, so you can raise the car before ...well, raising the car. My floorjack won't fit under the front crossmember so I use two floorjacks at the front, and raise them together.
