floor panels pelican vs pp vs rd prices why?
pelican parts sells them for 225 for a side.
performance products sells them for 380 a side. and restoration-design sells them for 150 a side. These prices realy vary. Why? they are all selling the same thing? |

Yes, I'm guessing they are so cheap because they make their own floorboards.

floorboards
The rest.des. floorboards also are separated back and front ( so you can do just the forward, or backward, parts of the floor if you want. Generally it's the front area that's most rusted. The other brand of floorboards seem to be separated into left and right sides so that if only the front (or back) is affected, you still have to buy both pieces. I've now replaced the floors on both my 70 model and my friends 68 model. The floors fit very well. We mig welded them in with a continuous bead around the entire outside perimeter and spot welded very closely along the inside where we cut the old floors out. (right along the old original flange seen from the inside.)
