Temp. sensor help.

I found I still have the one wire sensor so I decided to switch it out. My new sensor arrived today and I would like to go it this weekend. Ok I found the tech article and know its the first connection on the bracket, the tech. says to remove the rear wheel but I still cannot see its routing, what else am I missing before I dig in?:)

Lenny the process is really quite easy. There is some good information if you search the different threads. This is a link to a tech article detailing the repair: Pelican Technical Article: Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor - Upgrade for 84-89 Carrera

Here is another thread that may help:

Lenny - can you post the CHT PN? I ran 964.606.405.00 and 930.606.915.00 but neither turn up in the catalog - and the ones that do show aren't for my 87.

Thanks,
Dan
