New Owner - '87 Cab with Turbo Body Kit

Hi all

I am so excited about the new old car! Only 52k on it. So much fun to drive. Picked it up last Friday and drove home from NJ. Too bad Chicagoland winter forces me to store it next week.....will just have to daydream about cruising in the summer with the top down...ahhhh.

I was in Sydney in 2002 and would move there in a heartbeat, but we have 2 sets of aging parents to watch over. Your city is one of the most beautiful, clean and friendly I have ever visited. I hope to return.

Cheers
Jack

Welcome. It's an addiction.

Looks like it was well taken care of.

Start saving up now. You'll put plenty into her making her "your own."

Any photos with the top up? I think cabs look great with the top up.

Black cars are the only way to go!

Uh, WOW!!

Hate the big ass USA rear bumperettes on all 911s, but that is a good looking ride!

Very nice. What sort of condition is the roof in? Looks pretty good from what I can see. Regardless, you're going to love the Cab!

Top is brand new, as is all the rubber. New interior carpet too. It's pretty darn near perfect condition. I swear, I just stand in the garage and stare at it like a little kid.

Look great

Don't be in too much hurry to store it for the winter. I'm still driving mine with the top down

Is it a 'Kit' as you say, or is it the factory M491 option?

Nice car.

Great-looking car and welcome to the jungle!

This car was converted to a widebody by Canepa when new, correct? If so and this is the car I think it is, it's very nice.

As for the weather, I'm in the Milwaukee area so I know your pain all too well! Either way, congrats on your new toy...now get out there and have fun before the snow flies and they murder the roads with the salt that forces the toys into hibernation!

Correct, Peter! It was converted by Canepa when new. Have you seen this car before?

I have another couple days to play Speed Racer before hibernation....
