Looking for any Targa owners in NYC area.


Want to complete some measurements and just look at location for Rear Seat Belt upper connections.

I am getting conflicting reports of whether these exist in 85 (they don't in my 84) - but would like to discuss. I am pretty sure they are in 86 (or 87) forward.

Trying to get locations right before I drill!

GREAT LONG WEEKEND to do this. We can also compare cars - curious on how mine compares with it's new Clutch, rebuilt Transmission, and recent work.

Need 85 or newer ..... Unless you have 3 point rear seatbelts! Trying to get my kids setup in the back for final weeks of drivable weather.

Magnuskgc - Any chance you know if you have holes UNDER your rear deck for upper seatbelts screws? Not sure if 85 had or not.

hmm I am not sure.. I do not think so...very easy for me to find out though... my interior is not fully installed. I can get back to you in the morning after the sun comes back up

Location of Shoulder Belt hole in 84 Carrera (based on 86 or newer)

Were you able to check to see if you actually have the holes?

85 is borderline......
