Shipping an engine

I looking to see how others have shipped engines. Does someone have a reusable crate that can be rented to ship an engine?

Thanks,
Mike

I've done those wooden pallets that big companies throw away in dumpsters. Yes they are free. You may want to nail some 2x2s or 2x4s to add more lateral stability

I bolted an engine to a pallet using all thread, purposely leaving the top uncovered except for shrink wrap so there was no mistaking which way was up, and no chance of something getting stacked on top of it.
