Upper Strut Mount bushing question
HI,
I want to install a new rubber bushing in the upper strut mount housing, however, on first glance it doesn't look like it will go in easily. Anyone have any special tricks to get this bushing into this housing? I don't know that this matters but this is for a '70 911. Thanks, tim |

replace the entire thing as a unit
put strip caulk underneath it; good time to redo shocks |

I just did this. Pelican sells a GPR product that replaces the rubber bushing only for about $80/pair. link below. It is much cheaper than buying the whole new upper strut mount. It was not that hard a job. The replacement is two pieces so you don't need tools to press it into the mount.
