I've seen writeups on how to replace the rear glass, and I have Wayne's book, but none of them mentions using any sort of sealant between the glass & rubber gasket. My old gasket (what's left of it) has plenty of goop where the glass was. Not sure if this was original.

Can I get a waterproof seal without using any goop? Thanks. |

You will want a NEW seal. If you use the old seal, you will NEED silicone windshield sealant. If you use a new seal, you will NOT need any sealant (OEM).

				Why?

I just recently removed all the glass in my car. All my seals looked good except for the windshield one. Going to replace windshield glass with new gasket but thought I would just reuse other gaskets (quarter windows, and rear). Is this not possible. I dont want to use all that messy silicone goo either.
