Help with some distributor bits

I just bought a dizzy for a 2.2E. PN 231 159 006 The dizzy is in really nice shape, no side play, but it has a serious vertical play problem. Like a quarter inch of vertical play on the shaft with the cam on it. Just to be clear, there is no vertical or side play at all on the distributor drive shaft, the one with the gear on it.

I need the little snap ring (or whatever should be there) that holds the upper shaft on the lower shaft. It's a little piece that fits under the felt under the rotor.

I also need a felt pad.

Any help is appreciated.

Glen Ring in NY or Ed Fall in Utah are the Porsche distributor gurus. Contact one of them and they will help you get it fixed for a reasonable price.

Do you have any contact info for them?

Thanks!
