I think I got scammed

Does anyone know if this is the correct searl# 901.102.077.00 995/41
for a 75" 2.7L crank?
the guy i bought this from told me it was from a 2.7L but after checking out his new ad for 3.0L crank on ebay, that has the SAME serial# as the one he sold me. i'm thinking this guy is just stupid or totally lost.
can you guys give me a hand let me no what these numbers match up to.

thanx again

Not sure what your application is, but the two cranks *are* the same specification. The sticky part is that the SC crank has the reverse-driven distributor gear which is unique to all other models I am aware of.

If you were scammed and the seller gives you the shaft, you do at least have the option of sending the crank off to EBS and they will install the gear you need. Doable at home, but touchy. I'd just send it out.

Hmmm...just reread my own post- I meant if the seller gives you the figurative shaft, not gives you the crankshaft. Doh!!

Thanks guys
Im just a little stumped about this whole deal, i really appreciate the help.
so what is it that this guy sold me a 2.0L.

2.7 cranks have 6 flywheel bolts ... SC have 9.

But, the 'unknown' crank ought to be sent off for magnafluxing and polishing anyway!
