1982 911sc Throttle Sensor

I have searched this site and cannot find anything on the Throttle Sensors and see it is not available fro our host. From what I can understand from 30% throttle up this is what tells the ECU that I want Full Power! Is there a test or replacement for this?

If "NONE" are available, Then is there a subsitute?? Does this mean that Everyone with an 1981 - 1983, 911sc is SOL when their TPS goes bad??

The SC's do not have an ECU. It's the CIS system.

Thats part of the Lambda system and there is the brain under the right seat that controls the 80 to 83 enrichment.
The part should be redily available at one of the national dismantlers

I forget that the US spec cars had the Lambda system. Mine's a Euro so it has no 02 sensor.

YOU Are Blessed! My friend at the Porsche Dealer just told me that the Throttle Valve sensor for the "Turbo" is available from Germany and looks similar with close part numbers. I had him order it and will will see if it fits and hopefully the only difference is the amount of fuel and timing that I may be able to Mitigate by adjusting the slots to make it come in a little later or earlier and lean the overall mixture.

I do not want a used one because it will eventually have the same problem. Also if this works I plan to buy another one so that 5 10 15 years down the road I will have a replacement!
