Question Tyres

Hello,

I'm due to get the car back from the garage this week after a complete engine rebuild.

First thing I plan on doing is shedding the rims with some nice new rubber.

Do these size tyres sound correct for a standard 77 911S...

Front, 205/60-15
Rear, 215/60-15

As I'm in the UK, do any British readers know of a decent supplier?

Thanks in advance.

I think the 215/60-15 is too big for the back of that model. It doesn't have rear flares does it?? What were the original size tyres?

I have 225/50/16s on the rear of my 77 and they fit good, no rubbing. But I have heard of some tires rubbing. If that happens you would ahve to roll the fenders. My front has 205/55/16s

Mine had 14s on it when I bought it

Simon,

Did you ever find a good source in the UK?

What was your final choice of tyre?
