Clear Stone Guards for SC/Carrera
Does anyone know where to find the clear type stone guards (like the type used on the 944) for the rear flares of a 911 SC/Carrera? I have found the black ones (our host sells them), but I would prefer the clear type if available.
thanks, Frank |

I made them myself using bulk 3m material in the thinnest thickness. I used masking paper (thin brown) to make a pattern, and when I was happy with the pattern I cut out the stoneguard material. the flares were really easy; I did not try to go down onto the flat lip. I did a bunch of areas on the front of the car as well.

Thanks, Mike

Yellow pages. Most sign cutters will have that material, either 3M or others. If you take them a pattern, they'll even cut it for you , but that's not really necessary if you can get the raw material. And have a steady hand...

I found 3M stoneguard on ebay - scraps big enough for my wide body. Less than $20...
