Here are a couple of old pictures back when I Bought the car:


Black and Linen is fairly unique. I have not seen many other car with it. The combo has grown on me. Although, I think black seats with a central linen insert would be nicer. BTW, the new Turbo, as seen on the latest Excellence, can be bought with light blue paint and a black/linen interior. Just like mine!

2002 996 turbo Carrera White with leather to sample Maritime Blue and Marble Grey. Car was ordered to spec, spending 3+ hours with an associate at the Exclusive Division of Porsche in Stuttgart. Delivered through my local US dealer. It was fun to spec out, truly custom, but in retrospect, I feel the blue was too bright.

Love the cashmere/black and linen/black. Especially when the carpets are black as well. I have seen some the other way as well with tan carpets. Is there a difference in the options?

I like the ones where the colors are complimentary and not too strident - you are going to be looking at the interior for a long time, and want to focus on the road.

I like the blue/gray above the best; the stripey one has great visual pop, but I think it might be wearing after a long time...

Craig, the steering wheel on my car is a Nardi Classic black-on-black, and I seem to remember that its 360 mm in size. Very well made and very comfortable, though a bit of a reach due to a shallow dish.
