911SC Engine Compartment Soundproofing

I am in the process of removing the original soundproofing material from the engine compartment of my 911SC. Are there any "tricks" to putting the new pad in? As with everything else back there, space is limited and I'm hoping this is something easily accomplished with the engine in and not at least partially dropped. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

When I bought my SC, it had no sound pad. I installed a new one when I had the engine out for a clutch job. In my experience, the best way to replace it is not to. I can't tell any difference in engine sound. The only difference is my wallet is lighter and my car is heavier.
