I heard that there is a oil temp gauge that will replace the ambiguous stock gauge. I believe it shows actual temperatureand this gauge is a simple swap. Anyone know of this? Where to get it? Cost? Tx!john |

A bit of care checking the wires ... a pic oer two, hand-drawn diagram might make the replacement go smoothly, instead of problematic the way the following job did! All of the terminals on the gauge are labeled with embossed symbols ... '+', three-bar ground symbol, and 'G' for the sensor lead. Good luck! http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=58080
