ccu transistor
Hello-I have been reading up on 964/993 ccu troubleshooting in the archives. If the ccu fan does not shut down after an interval-the fault is usually a bad control transistor, identified as BC 337. Where can you get one of these? Thanks

Where are you located?
Try All Electronics in North Hollywood, they got allot of stuff you can't normally find at a standard electronics supply. Found a ridiculous transistor no one else had, I mean a whole bucket full and cheap too. |
When I replaced several components on my RPM transducer, I bought all the replacement parts from Jameco.

There is always Digikey.com if your local electronics store doesn't carry what you are looking for. It's .44$ at Digikey but shipping and handling kills the deal when you order small quantities......

ccu transistor
Thanks guys! I know absolutely nothing about transistors-are these available from radio shack? If not - how do you go about ordering one from the above mentioned sources? How do you specify what you want? Thanks

If you look up "substitutions or replacements" on the net...you might find a common replacement for yours.
If it's a plain old transistor....go for the sub... Just checked myself....a 2N3904 is a direct replacement. Just be sure of the correct Emitter/Base/Collector configuration. Bob |
