free SC leather seats

I've got a pair of leather seats from my '83 SC coupe, that I replaced with Recaros, and I'll give 'em to anybody who wants to make the effort to come pick them up, in Cornwall, New York, about nine miles north of the Bear Mountain Bridge. They're in sort of sad shape, in that not only are they that dreadful shade of diarrhea brown but the driver's seat has some split seams and the passenger's seat, although not similarly "broken," is neglected. The previous owner, whoever he was, was obviously a pig and probably an overweight one. The seats were perfectly usable, as far as he was concerned, when he sold the car to a used-car dealer. They are mechanical, not electric, by the way.

Reason I'm tossing them is that I have a barn that I'll be burning down in the next month or two, in order to replace it with a new one, and I'm not going to try and store any more of the barn's current contents than necessary.

Stephan

Stephan,

If you would be interested in taking them to a shipping facility (mail boxes etc or the like) I would pay to have them boxed and shipped.

My 85 leather seats are not in the best condition and this way I could recover a set and still be able to drive.

Let me know, not a big deal but I do not get to NY area very often!

Thx,

Joe

Stephan, You don't have to sugar-coat in your description, someone will take them. Seriously though, have you thought about e-bay? It's a great way to get rid of things that you don't want to throw in the barn-fire.
