Door Closing Problem
 

On my 1980 SC drivers side door does not always shut completely on the first try. Have to shut it with authority.

My buddy just took delivery of a 1983 SC Coupe and I went to look at it today. His doors close so nicely. Makes me want to get my doors working better.

Any ideas where to look for a tutorial on adjusting the door latch. Those things are like voodoo magic to me.

Take a look at your striker plate. The plastic part inside may be broken. I had the same problem with mine. I replaced it and all is fine.
