what the heck is this?

found it in my glove box when cleaning my SC. Part number 911 552 177 01. doesn't seem to serve a function at all, and i cant find the part on pelican or any other parts site for porsche.

Part number 911 552 177 01

No quotes...

The first hit has your answer......
