So 74 was the last year for the low 7:31 and 75 was the 8:31?

Both were used in 1975 models; it was the last year for the 7:31 ratio, the first year for the 8:31 ratio.

74 is the last year for the 7:31 R/P in US 915's. ROW boxes had 7:31 in 75, all US boxes were 8:31.
