Steering Beering, Bushing, Circlip

I just removed my steering wheel and noticed that my beering is shot! The only thing left is the outer raceway. I ordered the beering, bishing and Mitch's beering jus tin case i do not want to remove the whole thing. What I noticed is that there does not seem to be a "circlip" or the star clip at all! Do you know what the part numbers are for these or if I need them? I would imagine i must have the "circlip" to hold Mitch's buching in place I just do not know what size it is or how to get it.

Thanks!

'72 is different than later cars. Make sure you order the correct one from Mitch, he just recently started selling one for older cars.

Yup, that's what I was gonna say. I had just noticed that your steering shaft is so different from mine that I figured it must be an early car.

Early Bushing...

As a reminder you'll get the split ring bushing and a flat washer, but you don't get the spring which Pelican has. The spring is very cheap and can be ordered with the bushing.

Dave,

I just make the steering bushing for both the early and late cars. I only did it since I needed one for my car. We've fooled around with some other ideas, but due to cost or volume nothing has worked out.

If it wasn't for Pelican Parts I couldn't make this work, they're great to work with so kudos to PP for supporting our cars...
