Excessive smoking and oil leakage after storage

Hi All, yesterday I started my SC for the first time in 11 months, I was
horrified when an excessive amount of white smoke was coming from the exhaust.
This probably lingered for about 5 mins until engine was warm . Also I noticed
some oil dripping and spraying from the exhaust, again this went away. I restarted the engine this morning and it was fine. Having had a fairly recent upper
endf rebuild, is this normal ?

My engine sat for a couple years before being installed in the current car. It would smoke quite a bit upon start-up, but the more I drove it, the cleaner the exhaust.

The car still sits most of the winter, and may or may not put out a puff when started in the spring.

What you saw was normal. Just drive it.
